The wireless socket tester allows you to easily identify problems related to incorrect, poorly functioning trailer lights. When you press the test button, the tester analyzes 6 diagnostic socket positions. Fast and hassle-free identification of lighting problems. The tester is powered by a 9 V battery (not included). If any of the indicator lights do not light up, this indicates a defective cable. Connect the tester to the cars socket.
Stop light - red
Left indicator light - yellow
Rear fog light or 12V - blue
Left tail light - black
Ground - white
Right indicator light - green
Right tail light - brown
Socket test: connect the tester to the vehicles socket - the lights will light up red
if the light is on (e.g. stop light), the indicator light will be green.
if the indicator light is red, the installation is faulty
To check the trailer lights:
Connect the plug to the tester
press the yellow button on the tester
green The indicator light indicates that the installation is correct. The red light indicates incorrect installation or a burnt-out bulb.
