Exide EFB (enhanced flooded battery) batteries have been developed in close cooperation with leading European car manufacturers. The EFB battery is based on a technology where the electrolyte is impregnated in glass fiber-polyethylene separators. This allows for fast and repeated start-charge cycles. This is an essential prerequisite for vehicles equipped with a Stop & Start system.
