Insert the cables into the clamps, then tighten both clamp screws evenly so that the cables are held tightly and do not move. Attach the clamps to the car battery and tighten the screws firmly. ATTENTION: Do not hit the clamps with a hammer when installing them on the car battery to avoid damaging the battery.
