Compact brake fluid tester. Allows you to instantly measure the water content of the brake fluid, regardless of the car model. Simply dip the testers electrodes into the brake fluid tank and read the control diodes. The device is capable of testing several types of brake fluids (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5, DOT 5.1).

To test the fluid quality, turn on the device with the button on the top - like a pen. Then remove the bottom cover and place the tester tip (two pins) in the brake fluid reservoir.
Reading the device readings:
Green LED: The brake fluid contains no water.
Yellow LED: There is less than 1% water in the system.
Two yellow LEDs: There is 2% water in the system - The content is within normal limits.
Red LED: 3% water in the system - Fluid change is recommended. 
Two red LEDs: More than 4% water in the system – change the brake fluid immediately.

Maintenance:
Replace the battery if the green LED does not light up after pressing the button on the "switch".
Flashing red LED - replace the battery.
Battery required to start the test: 1 pc. type AAA (not included).
Clean the felt-tip pens under running water after each use.
