Protects the catalytic converter from clogging with soot. Cleans the intake valves and combustion chamber. Improves fuel combustion. Clean engines reduce fuel consumption and therefore CO2 emissions. Usage:
Pour the substance into a pump spray bottle (Liqui Moly product no. 3316). Pump up the pressure in the spray bottle. Create access to the intake duct, ideally behind the turbocharger. Note that the access point must be located directly behind the mass air flow sensor. Start the engine and spray the additive into the intake manifold at short intervals while the engine is running at moderate speeds (2000-3000 rpm). If the wheels do not start to move, the intervals between spraying can be extended. If the wheels move sharply (> 700 rpm), shorten the spraying duration. For precise spraying, check regularly that there is sufficient pressure in the spray bottle. Liqui Moly cannot provide a guarantee if the product is not used as described in the product information or if other dosing systems than those shown are used. It is the users responsibility to check the suitability of alternative dosing systems. To ensure optimal cleaning of the fuel system, we recommend adding catalytic converter cleaning additive (Liqui Moly product no. 7110) to the fuel immediately after application. This ensures that the entire engine system, including the exhaust system, is clean.
