Two-component epoxy compound. For making external repairs to mechanical equipment without dismantling it. Fills in irregularities, seals and joins almost all materials. The product can be used to repair: cracked pumps, leaking cooling units and tanks, various connections (electrical fuses), electrical wiring harnesses, housings and handles, broken headlights, parts of the instrument panel, bumper, chassis, etc. The substance can be used with various materials such as metal (aluminum, steel, cast iron), plastic (PVC, Plexiglas), glass, wood, stone, etc. The joints are resistant to vibration, temperatures and chemicals. The product protects metal elements from corrosion and is a good electrical insulator. After curing, it can be mechanically processed.
Usage:
The surfaces to be mixed must be clean (e.g. use sandpaper), free of oil and dirt.
1. Warm components A and B to room temperature before mixing.
2. Take equal amounts of components A and B and mix/flow them between hands until the color is uniform. Use the product within 5 minutes of mixing. Do not mix components A and B in larger quantities than you can use within 5 minutes.
3. Apply the epoxy to the surfaces to be joined or repaired and allow the surfaces to stand still for at least 45 minutes. After approximately 12 hours, the joints/repairs can be mechanically worked.
The repair time can be shortened by heating the bonded area with a hot air gun. Surfaces that are difficult to bond should be coated with a thin layer of liquid epoxy adhesive (e.g. E-358) and left to dry.
