Refractory silicate-based paste made from modified silicate cement. For use on materials operating at very high temperatures from - to +1000°C (resistant to temp. range -40°C to +1200°C).
Used for permanent repair and sealing of joints, gaps, holes and cracks in stoves, fireplaces and chimney modules. The product is used in the assembly of exhaust components of vehicle and machine exhaust systems to ensure leak-free and hermetic, heat-resistant joints. The product is characterized by excellent adhesion to fireclay bricks, stone, metal and cast iron. Can be used on vertical surfaces. After complete curing, resistant to exhaust gases, liquids and cold temperatures.
Safe to use - asbestos-free.
USAGE
1. Ensure surfaces are clean and free of rust, dirt and grease.
2. If possible, roughen surfaces with medium grit sandpaper.
3. Moisten surfaces with water and apply paste to required area.
4. The joint must be fixed within five minutes after application of the product to ensure good contact between the sealant and the substrate.
5. Remove excess paste with a damp cloth.
6.
INSTALLING EXHAUST SYSTEMS
Run the engine at low speed until the engine warms up. This allows the paste to harden and the substance forms a gas-tight seal.
7.
SEALING FURNACE, FIREPLACE AND CHIMNEY JOINTS
Increase the temperature of the furnace/fireplace gradually. This allows the paste to harden and the substance forms a gas-tight seal.
8.
REPAIRING DAMAGES AND SMALL HOLES
Apply a layer of paste to the surface, place the heat-resistant mesh (included) directly on the paste; wait for the paste to dry slightly. Apply a second coat of paste. Then run the engine at low speed until the engine warms up or gradually increase the temperature of the stove/fireplace.
