PCLs new 9.5mm ID SuperFlex hose with XF fittings is durable. Extremely flexible and protected against wear. The hose has good kink and crush resistance, reducing air loss. and is resistant to UV radiation and a wide range of acids and alkalis. The inner layer of the hose is a mixture of PVC and nitrile rubber. which is 2 times stronger than regular flexible PVC. while being soft and resistant to kinking. The outer layer of the hose is made of the same material. from which double glazing window seals are made and meets BS EN12365-1 standards. Therefore, the hose has excellent weather resistance and is also suitable for use in cold conditions. The combination of these materials makes the SuperFlex hose suitable for most applications. However, it is recommended to avoid high temperatures. as the hose may become too soft.
Max working pressure 200 psi/13.75 bar. safety factor 3:1 at temperatures from -15°C to +60°C. At higher temperatures, the working pressure should be reduced: at +30°C by 15% and at +40°C by 30% (to 9.6 bar)
