For BMW and Mercedes-Benz electric power steering, wear and play in the steering rack gear can occur.
This play can often be easily corrected by replacing or adjusting the steering rack bushing. This socket allows the bushing to be removed and correctly installed on the vehicle.
Fits BMW: 1 Series (from 2011), 3 Series (from 2012), 4 Series (from 2013), X1 (from 2015), X3 (2010 - 2017).
Mercedes-Benz: C-Class (from 2014), S-Class (from 2014).
