The cooling system does not require draining or flushing. Simply shake the bottle, add the fluid to the coolant and start the engine normally.
K-seals advanced formulation uses ceramic microfibers with copper particles of various sizes to provide a quick and permanent seal for most holes or cracks in the cooling system up to 0.75 mm.
The special chemical formula is able to flow into cracks so fine that they are not even visible to the naked eye, forming an extremely strong seal. The crack or hole is actually filled completely with the K-Seal formula, resulting in a complete "weld" and permanent repair. The copper in K-Seal not only contributes to the strength of the repair, but also helps conduct heat through the crack or hole. This eliminates the hot spots that would normally form with a non-metallic repair.
K-Seal can be left in the cooling system and will repair leaks as they occur. You wont even know theres a problem. In fact, K-Seal is ideal for use in engine rebuilds. Microcracks can often form and remain undetected after the repair is complete. Adding K-Seal to the cooling system immediately after the repair and after each coolant change ensures that all leaks are sealed, thus avoiding time-consuming and costly repairs.
K-Seal is specially formulated to permanently seal cracks in the engine block and head. This unique product is guaranteed to mix with all glycol-based coolants and antifreezes. K-Seal can also be used to seal holes and cracks in head gaskets, radiators, heater cores, coolant pipes, water pump housings and other metal parts of the cooling system in both gasoline and diesel engines. K-Seal will not seal water-to-oil leaks or oil-to-water leaks. It must leak to the atmosphere to function properly.
