Castrol EDGE Titanium FST 10W-60 synthetic engine oil is suitable for year-round use with normal charging and turbocharging in both conventional and racing high-performance gasoline and diesel engines, where the manufacturer recommends using SAE viscosity class SAE 10W-60 and quality classes ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4, Engine oils corresponding to API SN/CF or earlier quality classes. Castrol EDGE Titanium FST 10W-60 is the only engine oil approved by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) BMW AG for use in the engines of BMW M Series models. This motor oil is suitable for use in most VAG Group motor vehicle engines (manufactured up to 2007) where the vehicle manufacturer requires an motor oil that complies with VW 501.01/505.00 approval. Not suitable for use in engines with extended oil change intervals or those engines with exhaust gas aftertreatment systems equipped with diesel particulate filters (DPF) and triple catalytic afterburners (TWC), unless otherwise specified by the car manufacturer.
